Spring Awakening
With Spring officially here I am getting really excited about the newness of the season and the momentum that we will enter Summer with. We are going to be doing some new things with the kids and with the gym this spring and summer. It is no secret that I am very passionate about “The Warehouse” or Gym project that Gail is going to be heading. We want to be able to take the fullest advantage of the resources that God has blessed us with, and with finishing the gym we will have an enormous resource for the kids of the church and the community. We are averaging 30 students for the afterschool program and they would greatly be encouraged by this project. We are continuing to grow our relationship with Lucas Elementary and they are interested in utilizing our facility as well. This will be a great outreach tool for our church and I am excited almost as much as the kids are.
