Christ the Center of our Lives
This Lenten season comes to a climax this Sunday as we remember anew the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, whom the centurion correctly assessed, "Truly this man was the Son of God!"
We've been speaking to the various "spokes" in our lives in which Christ must reign as Lord if we are to experience these things most wholly (and holily!): Marriage, Family, Work, Finances, Physical and Mental Health.
One mistake we can make is to focus on fixing our spokes, and take our eyes of the center of the "wheel of life", namely, Christ...the Hub, so to speak. This Resurrection Sunday, we will refocus our eyes on Him and be reminded of how we, as his people, must have "the mind of Christ", as Paul puts it. Come remember our risen Lord Jesus and join in worship through prayers and the Word, through singing and teaching, and through baptisms and communion. It promises to be a great day as we realign our individual wheels of life with Christ...together!
Grace and peace,
Dave
